A short story is a photograph; a novel is a film." ~Lorrie Moore These are my brief love affairs, my quickly-taken photographs, my breaks from novel works in progress or writing exercises that turned out to be rather fun! (If they are from a writing exercise, I will include the prompt.) Why the name Polished Messes? Because these stories are not perfected, they're just polished up a bit to be presentable before sending them into Wattpad world.
