Tenrou Island was gone. Everyone participating in the S-Class promotion trials were gone. Her family was gone. In her grief, Dealana surfed out to sea on one of her clouds to search for the lost island by herself. The skies mourned with her until Dealana fell into the sea, left to drift with the harsh currents and allow her body to be tossed from one massive wave to the next.

A passing ship with a small family on vacation happened upon her and brought Dealana to a hospital in fear for her life.  When Dealana finally awoke after a few days, she wasn't in Fiore anymore. She had no time to grieve the way she wanted to, not when she had to adapt to this new world fate decided to place her in. A world where incredible abilities are called "quirks" and heroes are the people's salvation against evil.
