Katherine grew up in a home where rules are obliged to be followed. Her parents even homeschooled her, that's why she eagerly yearns for a "normal-teenage-life" - hanging out, partying, and road trips. That's how she defined it. Not until her mom caught her jumping off through the window in the middle of the night that made her decision to send her daughter to province. Furthermore, she also decided to transfer her to a 'real' school which is Fortress High. Strangely, the latter was nonexistent that made Katherine be more curious about it.
