Lily struggled as she moved up the stairs. Her husband James screamed, "Lily take Harry and run. He is here! I will fight him off." James turned and said, "I am sorry Angie." He whispered to himself. He cut himself and said some ancient words in Latin, "O death, have mercy on my blood adopted son's soul and take my sacrifice to save his. Keep my son and god children from harm as long as I am on the mortal plane and keep them from true harm. So mote it be." Someone burst in the door and said, "Avada Kedavra." The next second James fell from the floor. The figure moved up the stairs and went and said, "Stand aside girl." Lily screamed, "No. I will not." "Stand aside, girl." "Never, take me instead." "STAND ASIDE!" "NO!" "Very Well. Avada Kedavra." "I am sorry little one, It hurts worse when you are left alone. Dumbledore would use you to his own game. I hope you forgive me one day." The little guy surprised him as he whispered in snake tongue, " I know. Harry is sorry. Dumble bad." He smiled at him like a child greeting his favorite uncle and not the murderer of his parents. "You are a remarkable child." He said with a small smile. "I am sorry little speaker." He points his wand at him. "Avada Kedavra." That is where it all went wrong, the spell backfired, Voldemort vanished, people celebrated, and Dumbledore did some dastardly things on a little boy after he was dropped off at the Dursleys and McGonagall and Hagrid left. The first chapter starts at the summer before 3rd year. The cover photo is Angie that James referred to who is named Agatha Black. Breaking From his Shackles (Discontinue and being Rewrittened)
The summer before the third year happens differently for Harry. The Harry that returns to Hogwarts is not the same one who left. Harry decides to make some changes in his life. As days turn to weeks and weeks turn to months the Harry everyone knew had vanished replaced by the true Harry that had been hidden away years ago. With the change in Harry, things happen differently than in canon. When Hermione had gotten Harry's firebolt confiscated, Harry did not get angry because he knew that Hermione was more important to him than any broom. As usual, Ron overacts at Hermione's decision to go to McGonagall about it and he gets mad at Harry for forgiving her. This incident causes a rift in their friendship because of their fight. With Ron not talking to them, both Hermione and Harry get closer to other befriending many new friends. How will Dumbledore handle being no longer willing to be controlled, manipulated, hide his true self, and act how everyone expects? What all will change now that Harry decides to take back the reigns and get control over his own life? How will the wizarding world handle their new boy who lived? Will Harry be forced to be controlled once more or be free to be who he truly is? Will the wizarding world find Harry as a threat when they see who he truly is?Complete
