Edison by tabrison
21 parts Complete
Fourteen-year-old Edison Green may be a genius, but he doesn't have a clue about what to do on his first day of high school. After being homeschooled until age 9 and then starting college courses, Edison doesn't have any experience with kids his own age. His parents believe he has a rare gift and they don't want him to be distracted by the menial problems of teenagers; instead, they want him to focus on his research project, which could be the next big breakthrough in physics. Edison loves physics more than anything, but loneliness and curiosity about life outside his world cause him to rebel. He goes on strike, refusing to continue his studies until his parents agree to let him go to high school for one year. Edison isn't worried about high school being hard--after all, he's been invited to join Mensa International--an exclusive club for the top 2% of the world's smartest people. But he finds out quickly that it takes more than a high IQ to traverse the social events and activities at Southton High School. During an unfortunate encounter with the school's most popular athlete, Edison meets Christina Blakely, who saves him from getting pummeled on his first day of school. She is the exact opposite of him in every way. Christina is a soccer phenom who doesn't have time to be friends with lowly freshmen. She's got problems of her own, including a low GPA, which could prevent her from getting a college scholarship. Can Christina achieve the impossible-the highest GPA she's ever had--and earn her scholarship? And can Edison prove to his parents and everyone else-including Ashley Murray, the most beautiful girl he's ever seen-that he can do more than solve difficult math problems? Can he really change the world with his research project, win Ashley's heart and survive high school?
Murder Drones Fanfiction (Post Absolute Solver Era) Book 1: A Home to Belong by LukasCliff
9 parts Complete
This story here embarks on a Disassembly Drone's journey to a new planet, away from the Solar System, and away from the drones she terrorized during her murder era. Serial Designation J, who is now an outcast to society, begins her adventure to move on from her traumatic past both as a loyal worker drone of her late friend Tessa, and her phase as a Murder Drone and Loyal servant to the Absolute Solver. She greatly struggles to fit in on a new planet as most of the robots are very different from those in Copper 9. One day, she met a drone much taller than the worker drones and about an average height of 151.9 cm (Bigger than the female disassembly drones, but not the male ones). He goes by the name of Sven, and he's going to help her learn the ways of living as a part of the worker society & the R.D.S. aka the Robotic Defense System. Then, she would meet up with other members of the team, and someday become friends with them. Could this be the only way she could move on from her past? or not? Reminders 1. Since Murder Drones belongs to Liam Vickers and the Glitch Productions, this story isn't canon, hence why it's considered fanfiction. 2. Serial Designation J, also belongs to Liam Vickers, therefore the character isn't mine. 3. This is my first experiment on writing fanfiction, since I'm more into writing my own stories. Though I would be glad to do so when I feel like it. 4. Props to Liam Vickers & Glitch Productions for creating Murder Drones and making it one of the best series ever known in Youtube.

| 𝟳𝘅 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗 ·|| HUNGER GAMES x CINDER || ONC 2023 Honorable Mention Amidst the escalating unrest between the windborne utopian city of Lighthaven and its seedy, oppressed underbelly Fumedge, the Grand Duke of Lighthaven, Lucius Sextus, comes up with an ingenious solution. To provide much-wanted respite from the brewing conflict, and achieve the apparent-if-temporary unity, he organizes Gaslight Trials - a highly entertaining panem-et-circenses combat event in the Pits. The combatants may use all steam and thaumaturgy powered augmentations at their disposal, and there is only one rule: defeat, or be defeated. The reward for the last one standing? A chance to start their life anew. A brass key to the city of Lighthaven with a luxurious mansion to call their own within, as well as an aeroship to command. When eighteen-year-old Veda Igglesden steps forward to take her timeworn adoptive father's place in the fight, she might as well be signing her death-sentence. With her eyes fully set on the prize, act-first-think-later Veda must harness the power of technology to try and win for her Papa Otto. Decades of breathing in the toxic air of Fumedge did a number on the old inventor's lungs, and being able to live in the air-filtered Lighthaven would sure come in handy right about now. A high-flying adventure full of gadgetry and intrigue; a pleasing blend of steampunk and postapocalyptic. See Veda unravel the mysterious ploy behind the game's organization, and uncover the truth about her secret origins. Can she cope both with the trials of physical and intellectual prowess, as well as with the trials of life itself: those of love, loss and regret? © 2023 EvelynHail Exclusively on Wattpad Based on prompt 49! Discovering his mate - A Silver Shifter Series 4

15 parts Complete Mature

Last edited April '23 ------ Shifters had ruled the good and the bad of Nina's life, well mostly the bad. The only good shifter she knew was her father. Even then she couldn't count on him to tell her the truth. The only thing Nina could count on was herself. Her logic, her control, and her sound mind... which she can count on around Todd. Todd loved a good manual, guidelines, recipes, rule book, whatever you call it. He followed them to the letter, how to fix an engine, how to build to house, how to keep the plants alive. They made life easy. All Todd wants out of life was a mate that followed the textbook. Though no rule book could prepare him for Nina. Will Nina discover that Todd is someone she could count on? or will Todd discover that some mates aren't worth ignoring the manual for?
