Certain Strange Encounters

The ambiance was eerie and quiet, it was as if a demon had come and sucked the life out of the place. The darkness was loud in its silence and the haunted look of the bare minimum light that had managed to slip through the gap of the dark had lit the open spaces a bit but it had somehow managed to intensify the darken corners of the place, it in some way felt to him that something lurked in those corners. Something... sinister just waiting for him to turn his back so that it could finally attack.
