Prince Ender Liam Rodgers was quite the trouble maker. Always causing a ruckus in the palace. He has nearly sent his father into his grave many times. 'Princes DON'T act like children!'. When the prince suddenly goes missing, everyone was sure that this is what would push the king over the edge. Questions filled everyone's heads. Was he kidnapped? Did he run away? Why would he run if he could have everything he ever dreamed of? When the prince comes back again, he had made a new..friend. When he tries to convince his father to let his 'friend' live, well. Let's just say that not all stories have a happily ever after.

(If you haven't read the first book, stop here! Don't spoil yourself, the first book is also on my profile) The death of a friend can break a person, or reshape them. It could be the straw that broke the camel's back, or a motivator, a push in the right direction. Aiden isn't sure where he falls. All he knows is the guilt and the desire for vengeance. Maybe things could've been different if he hadn't made such a disastrous mistake. But then an opportunity arises for Aiden to learn more about his fallen comrade, to get to know him even beyond the grave. And like death, everything that follows could make or break the rebellion. Note: This story contains a subplot featuring a romance between two boys. It's presented as normal. If you have a problem with the lgbt+ community, then this isn't the book - or authour - for you. I'm a member of the community myself. Happy pride month! Spread love, not hate. <3
