Amelia, a reserved Hufflepuff, has started questioning her friendship-making abilities as she realizes that at 6th year, she hasn't made a close friend in Hogwarts yet. She certainly has made acquaintances but she struggles to fit into their friend groups and they haven't tried to give her a spot either.

Split between her muggle life and life at Hogwarts, first year Belle Beaufort and Belle's brother Benjamin as well as non-magic friends Jane and Beatrice help her navigate through a very important part of her life, as she helps them figure out theirs in the process.
