June agrees and they enter the compartment. They introduced themselves as Justin and Thea, twins, and both Ravenclaws. June's hopes of an uneventful year die after the train ride leads to Dementors searching the train for an escaped murderous prisoner. Shortly after arriving at school, the students learn that the soul-sucking creatures from the train had been placed outside and around the school's perimeters in case the escapee tries to enter the school grounds. Soon June learns of her Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, Remus Lupin is a werewolf. And that he knew both her parents.
