Moonwatcher and Winter are living happily together in Sanctuary, the town that Winter helped Riptide build and populate with his scavenger sanctuary. One day, Qibli makes a deal that gives him a single animus spell in exchange for something that fits nicely with his own plan.
Qibli was devastated, but pretended to be fine when Moon chose Winter. He swore he'd win her back, and this day he was going to hold up on that internal goal, and the NightWing with silver scales around her eyes was his prize. Only... this time, there wasn't going to be any competition for her.
Winter was coming home one day, from his scavenger studies. Until on the way, he heard a rustling sound. Then someone spoke. And that was the last thing he heard before waking up in a cold and dark place, gagged and bound.
And then Qibli took Moonwatcher, while Winter was gone.
This is a short Winterwatcher story, and all the characters except for Mirage, Aurora, and Darkmist belong to Tui T. Sutherland. The others are my OC's. Hope you enjoy! :)

There is an assassin out to get Glory, and according to Moon, it ends up killing her and Deathbringer as well, so Glory goes into hiding, tricking everyone in the tribe, including Deathbringer into thinking she is dead, so the assassin will leave Glory's friends and scarce family alone. But to fulfill the trickery, she had to let the married couple Moon and Qibli, as well as Turtle, Kinkajou, and Sunny in on her plan. They are all very good liars, but the question is: Can Glory keep her identity a secret? And if she accidentally reveals, what will become of the future? Sorry to all the WinterWatcher fans out there, promise I'll get to them somehow. CW!! (cringe warning lol) This is really old and was like- my second fanfic, so it's really cringey.
