Why Mr Birling is a Boomer and other ways we can link An Inspector Calls to modern-day society.
So, a few months ago I started to write this small funny little essay about why Mr Birling from An Inspector Calls is a boomer, and now, 4500 words later, here we are. I don't know how, or why for that matter, I wrote this, but it is written by a slightly depressed gen z kid who has strong political views, so like, just forewarning you.
This is exactly what it says on the tin, why Mr Birling and the other characters of An Inspector Calls can link to modern-day society from the viewpoint of a gay gen z. Enjoy.
