Based off the theories of Matpat, I've created a story that I feel is a much better ending to Star Wars: Episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker.
Are you like me and feel like the ending to Episode 9 could have been a little bit better? Well, I got an idea when watching Film Theory and decided to make this! Hope you like it and have a glorious day! :)

Star Wars IX- The Rise of Skywalker
"We've passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight." A familiar voice, Luke's, whispers. Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. She was abandoned. Left in the orphanage, with nothing from her parents but a name and a necklace. They had no choice. They had responsibilities, not only to each other, but to their sides of the war. Then, one day, they found her, and everything changed. - Okay, I have a few things to say. 1- this was based off of TFA, and contradicts a lot of things in TLJ. Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Temptation Of Grey
Reylo fanfic based on ideas for Episode 9 The rebels could first flee to a safe place and start rebuilding themselves. Rey and Kylo / Ben continue to have a strong connection but try to suppress or ignore them as both believe the other is lost. Then Leia dies and the dead of his mother plunges Ben into a crisis. Hux takes advantage of this moment, takes the power and tries to kill Ben. This one can escape badly injured. Rey is also weakened by Ben's lethal injury and finds out through the research in the jedi's books that she and Ben are inextricably linked by the Forcebond originally created by Snoke.... Following the events after The Last Jedi. "Just a dream, it was just a dream," she says aloud attempting to calm herself, but the feeling doesn't dissipate, and her heart is still racing. Atonement
This is a Ben Solo/OC story. I do want to be clear that I am a die hard Reylo fan but this idea came to me and I need to run with it. What if Ben had been too late? What if he couldn't have brought Rey back, where would he go? Ben finds himself back on Tatooine where it had all began but he isn't alone. Beykha Novan has taken over the Lars Moisture Farm and doesn't take kindly to strangers but something about the mysterious Ben tells her to trust him to help him. Meanwhile Finn is convinced that Kylo Ren has killed his beloved Rey and has made it mission to find Ren and kill him - no matter the cost.
