So I'm probably not going to get the answer I want from the Manga and this whole thing is a creation of my own on the 'lost years' of Touya Todoroki. This is him living on the streets before he becomes Dabi/BlueFlame, UP UNTIL THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS OF THE MANGA. And his life he creates for himself before he faces off with is father. -Slight spoilers but I kinda just breeze past them so unless you KNOW then you know- I personally think he's a redeemable character (AKA I'm simping so hard that I am justifying mass murder) and I really feel like we aren't going to dive into that whole messy business. Touya Todoroki was one of the few guys that didn't shun her because she was from a far away country. He didn't mind her last name which was difficult to pronounce and he certainly didn't care if she was Irish or half Japanese. Infact, he saw her as the most enchanting thing on the face of the earth. Delaney Kavanagh had loved him for his stubbornness. The way he strived to become a hero. He definitely was her hero. He was like the sun. A bright light filled so much life and hope. She knew she loved him dearly even though most people would call it a childish crush. Her only regret was not telling him before it was too late. After the forest fire on Sekoto peak, nothing was the same anymore. Guilt, regret and despair became her close friends.
