A little peek into Demir's mind during the breakfast scene in episode 11. This being one of my favourite scenes of the series, I couldn't help but write a little bit about what he was possibly thinking. Here's my take on the scene. Hope you all enjoy the read =]

Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Complete

Stronger
I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! LolComplete

"Then, I entrust her to first Allah, then you and my brother, Ertugrul." Sungur Tekin kissed his daughter's forehead and embraced her into a tight hug, inhaling her sweet, lily scent, ensuring he would remember her fragrance after she left. "I don't want to leave you, Baba," cried Ceyda, grabbing onto her father's arms. "What if I miss you?" "For sure, we will miss each other, my daughter, more beautiful than the moon. But I promise you will enjoy staying at my brother's tribe, and it will be safer. The Mongols ruined our tribe, Ceyda'm. You will be at peace there and happy, I promise. Don't you trust me?" Ceyda thought about her father's kind and convincing words, looking into his dark eyes, identical to hers, for any sign of dishonesty. When she saw nothing but sincerity, she nodded. life is a journey with its ups and down. One must enjoy this journey to reach the destination. I wanted yagiz and hazan to live these small moments. you will get to read different experiences of their life. how they come close, get married and on and on.. This is a fan fiction based on Fazilet Hanim ve Kizlari. This fanfic takes the story on a path I wanted it go. I am catching up from Episode 49 when Yasin tells everyone that he is the father of the kidnapped baby. All the characters are same. I will add a few as and when required. In the start the story will have few portions or scenes directly from episode 49 and 50 so I will not rewrite it in detail but just mention it. initially the story may seem just catching up with the episode but i wanted to give it a logical approach. The story will basically be of Yagiz and Hazan. Rest new characters will be mentioned as their paths intersect with yaghaz. I have put a brief intro of the characters and the story so far in the beginning of PART 1 The credit of the photos and videos i have used goes to the creator. I will try to update regularly. Gorya is in the hospital because preeclampsia. Thyme arrives straight from the airport after leaving The United Kingdom the moment he recieved a call from Ren. When he sees Gorya resting, he doesn't allow himself to leave her side. That is when his demons give him a reminder of how he met Gorya and all the ways he hurt her. His demons tease him on his love for Gorya and the love he feels for their unborn daughter. They also show him what would have happened had Ren not been there to save Gorya. Especially that one particular time where she had almost been raped from those highschool guys. (Episode 2 when we hear the tear of her uniform shirt) AN: It's 5 years since the finale episode. I've always wondered how Thyme would have acted had he had to face his demons especially when he was the cause of Gorya being injured, hurt, almost raped (the live action dramas only) and now her life hangs in the balance...Complete
