Meet Melanie Andrews, she has two best friends by the name of Ember Parker and Axel Parker. However, even as bestfriends, they don't know what's happening behind closed doors; nobody does. With her two brothers Jake and Drake, Melanie fights a battle alone.

But what happens when one accident can change everything? Now she has to make a big decision. She has died as a human, making her inner vampire come out, however if she does not go to the Moon Academy; a school for supernatural creatures like herself then she will die altogether as it is the only safe place for her kind. However if she does go, then she will have to give up her human life, leaving her brothers and friends behind.
