THE UNINFORMED INTELLECTUAL

In the face of adversity the megalomaniac appeared good
With a reflection that looks and sounds cool
Behold it's a sheep clothed with wool
Be reminded our civic duties we refuse to relent and be taken for fools

On the ladder of polity he begins to lean to get swelled
To in the realm of entrenchment dwell
Using political griots to the burning fire add fuel
But on the soul of the trajectory we will act cruel

The only demands of the political sovereign is to restore sanity and be civil
Be reminded we wouldn't hesitate to blow any whistle
Against tyranny we will rise and declare evil
Even if it means to take a huge fumble
This political flippancy is becoming painful
Worthy of engaging is something meaningful
And not gatherings that are all but disdainful

Our constructive criticisms are to good governance ideal
Standards practice is what we breath and feel
For all that we crave is that which is all but real
We will continue to steer until our desires are achieved and sealed

We need the faithful genuis
Who are all but courageous;
But until our horizons we begin to furnish and act conscious
We will continue to dream for the land of the auspicious
