I've decided to keep recordings of what happens during my shift. There's a small thirty minute gap between when the day watch security officer leaves, and the night watch security officer shows up, signaling the end of my work day...night?Either way, this gap allows me to document what I witness while working the Graveyard shift at this run down gas station.

I Survived
It was like any other day, i was with my daughter, amelia. She was about to fall sleep. She was in so much peace. No worry in the world. Her green eyes were shining, from the light of the moon. During my deep thinkink, the tv stated making that fog horn type noise, waking me up from my trance. The news was on, with the alert reading across the screen. "TAKE COVER, STAY IN HOMES. LOCK DOORS, STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS" i lay amelia in her bed, out of my lap. I lock the windows and the doors. When i came back, i missed whatever the alert was about...i should have waited.
