The story follows the struggles of how Indian punjabi families and their reactions when their own kids start taking decisions for themselves and in a parallel universe how Indian families that moved to the modern parts of the country or world . It takes you through the journey from Punjab to Surrey and how some differences can widen so much that they may not ever be narrowed down . But only time teaches such lessons that if it is the right time , it can change sand to gold and when it isn't well the gold loses its shine .
