Tik tok tik tok tik tok, went the clock and all Avery could hear. As she lost the games her friends were gloating."Do I have to?" She whined "c'mon it's part of the game, don't be a baby" Henry argued. She touched the centerpiece in the middle of the board and it chimed. "You're next" the raspy voice said followed by a little girl's laugh after a few seconds of silence the girl screamed. "What the heck" said Henry, " let's finish this tomorrow, I'm tired" yawned Sabrina "yeah ok me too" cole smiled at me and than said " coming" "I going to watch the water for a bit" I smiled back "no one's going to talk about what just happened?" Henry screech "it's a game Wuss" cole stated "goodnight" everyone said leaving Avery alone in her thoughts. Again she heard the clock. Tik tok tik tok tik tok as she listened to it more and more it became apparent that it was speeding up. Tiktok tiktok tiktok, she looked at the clock and the hand of the clock started to go around in circles around and around again, she watched it like her eyes were glued in place. Then it stopped. Returning to her thoughts she turns her head. Seeing a shadowy figure in front of her. "Cole" she whispered " that isn't funny" the figure walked up to her and she saw what it was or is.
