Haruka joins Inarizaki after she moves to Hyogo from Tokyo with her mother, halfway through her first year. She is a weird girl who hides behind her zero powered glasses and her bangs swaying across her forehead because they make her feel less exposed to people and change her appearance. She's weird because of her overwhelming IQ. Being the antisocial she is, she dislikes the Atsumu brothers for the swarm of people they attract, especially the blonde twin who mostly magnets noisy girls.

"Tsumu, all you've to do is look at her notes. I promise. If you don't feel overwhelmed, I'll give you all my Twix"

"Ya got yerself a bet!" He said before walking away.

She didn't know why she waited for Osamu at the library but when his brother walked in a ticked expression crossed her face.

He was so annoyed when she asked him who he was and why he was there. "I'm here cz my brother can't"

"Too bad, you can go"

"Weren't you waitin for him? I'm here instead"

Atsumu gets intrigued about her but keeps it to himself, mindlessly bugging her every single day.

That is until he finds out about her and realises that everything he knew was a lie.
