Deanu is a struggling tattoo artist, just trying to make ends meet so that at the end of the day, she and her cat, Boo, can curl up together at home. Oh and also, y'know, so she can pay her rent and afford to eat.
Anika is new in town, her florist business having just started in the shop next to Deanu's. Coming from a less than stellar past, Anika wants to spread her warmth and her wings, and forget what had happened to her before.
So, when the two of them inevitably start to clash, then to fall, Deanu might find the sun, but Anika might be finding she has to unearth her past, before she can truly start to heal.

He looks across the street and sees a blue-eyed boy with dirty blonde hair opening the flower shop, and something within him stirs. Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist.
