Which means they have to endure the modernization and the barraged of strangers entering the land that they inherited from their forefathers.
Trying to fought back for their peaceful living on their land, Liwayway saw herself hitting the arrogant man with gray eyes in the head. And she panicked when the man woke up, not remembering anything. It was like his memory was erased. Seeing that as an opportunity to turn things around, she pretended to be his girlfriend to change Rake's mind and save her small community from the incursion of strangers and the exploitation of their land.
