Pepper lives in her city. The only city left, the only safe city left. They're protected by gate, from the unspeakable evils that lie behind them. But then, what happens when there's a breech in the gate?
This is an idea I've had for a long time but no way to execute it. This is only my second story, so I apologize for any problems!

What if all that you ever knew was a lie? Years ago, the meteorites fell and destroyed the old ways of doing things. A new changed Government arose and the world around them changed as well. In a twist of events, she and her friends are thrust into the world of the Rebels by two mysterious characters- one of whom is her long-thought dead brother. Who can be trusted? Secrets Are For Keeping
Nova Carlson has been alive for sixteen years. Years of secrets. Years of lies. Years of living in New Pangaea. Ever since its start twenty years ago, when all boundaries between countries became nonexistent and all of humanity was forced to conform into one simple world, New Pangaea has been filled with unrest, criminal activity, protests, and rebellion. Now they've found a solution. A device that could expose any criminals in seconds, could tell the entire world every and any secret anyone may have. The idea behind it was to prevent crime and protect the world, while simultaneously promoting unity. To anyone, this idea may seem like the saving grace New Pangaeans have been waiting for. Except Nova has a secret. **This is one of the first stories I've ever written (finished years ago), and I'm uploading it just because I thought it'd be cool to share it! Left for Dead (book 1 in the Super Nova series)
So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine.
