There's no saving anything / Now we're swallowing the shine of the sun. Chell is outside. She marvels at the nature around her, and finally lets herself rest. Unfortunately, though, recent trauma isn't easily forgotten. Based off a chapter of a 7-year-old fic I wrote with self-insert characters. Will this become a full-fledged fic rewrite? Only my ambitions will tell.

"A Book About Quinn" follows the story of a peculiar protagonist. Quinn, the titular main character, fulfills the role of the Narrator - but this isn't how the story was supposed to go, they're sure of it. Joined by James, Daphne and Alice - all holding secrets of their own - Quinn ventures across worlds to find the answer to that greatest of secrets - who are they, really? Dreams and mirrors become portals to uncharted worlds, full of beauty and danger, and the most wonderous places. And time after time again is the question posed - who is visisting Quinn's dreams? And can they possibly rewrite destiny? --- My lil' novel, very much a WIP. Previously only on AO3, that's why there's a lot of chapters updated at once loll All the characters belong to me, the story is mine etc CW: - major character death (kinda) - semi-graphic depictions of violence - mentions of SA - trauma flashbacks - suicide (thoughts, mentions) - school shootings - self-depricative thoughts - mentions of ED - mentions of domestic abuse
