in only a few years cases of depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses had skyrocketed, so the government released an airborne substance that would regulate everyone's emotions, so everyone was created equal, however, the substance was created by bigots so that it supressed certain characteristics such as homosexuality and any other part of the LGBTQ+ community, Athena is a 17 year old girl, who provides for her dog and drunkard father, who just happens to be immune to the substance, so she bands together with a group of other immunes to take the government down, and destroy the substance.
