When he awoke, the world was crumbling around him and he could not understand what was happening. All he saw was beautiful women over him.
"What's happening?" Johnathan asked, throat parched.
"Good morning sir." The nurse said with a smile, but it wavered when another bomb fell near the Red Cross tent. "I'm so sorry sir, but the German's are raiding once again. How do you feel?" She said asked still huddle over him, to protect him, but slightly further away now that the officer was awake.
"Peachy keen Ms.?" Johnathan asked with a fond smirk.
"Smith. Mary Smith." Mary answered sweetly.
"Mary...where have you been all my life?"

The pair of them have a ridiculous amount of connections, few being known like how Dae's mother served with Dustin's father throughout deployments. Dae had always pushed Dustin away when he wanted to get closer. On the run up to Valentine's day Dustin has a grand plan in which he hopes Dae manages to see how he feels. Presents appear in her locker, her dad gets back from deployment with a companion she was certain was not breathing and then a gift bag which Smoke doesn't react to which makes her suspicious. With your mum being trained as a bomb dog handler that's natural right? Even her dad is in on the plan. Will Dustin leave with the heart he's always wanted or will he get turned away again? We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out.
