Brigid lives in a small cottage in the forests of Tuatha Dé Dannon with her father, Eochu. Eochu is the leader of the Druids, the all known prophet of their happy, peaceful pagan ways. Everything seemed so calm for Brigid until Prince Bres came into her life.

Bres always hated his time in court. He never once dreamed of becoming a king and never wanted to. When bandits mistake him for a noble who had done wrong by them, he's left injured on his horse with no physician near him. When he opens his eyes, the beautiful red haired Druid is tending to his wounds.

Their time together blossoms into a beautiful Celtic romance, but when the queen hears of her son having a secret lover, she takes matters into her own hands, inevitably showing Brigid who she was born to be.
