"I didn't ask to be born with a name like mine," The girl began with a shaky breath. As captain she was required to make a speech to her teammates. "We are all gifted with things at birth that maybe we'd like to return. Ladies, right now it's not about me or my family name. It's about us, our team and what we worked for." The captain took a moment to look up at the crowd of people that came to watch them play, a familiar bush of orange hair catching her eye almost immediately.

Aroha Mostafa was born knowing a few things. One, her mother was the greatest female basketball player that ever lived and two, she'd be the second greatest in her honor. Though, her goal of being the greatest was halted the moment she was forced to pack her bags and move away from her home in America to a new place in Japan.

No friends, new classes, a new culture, new team... she had a lot to adjust to. Though, things would get easier. All because of a little energetic carrot and his love for volleyball.
