My name is Nova. I'm 21, a college student by default, but an entrepreneur at heart. Life hasn't just been hard-it's been brutal. Broken homes, broken trust, broken dreams... and somehow, I'm still standing. Raised by a single mother who did her best with what little she had, I learned early that love doesn't always show up, and money doesn't always stretch. My father? Alive, but dead to me-too busy raising a new family to care about the one he left behind. Now, I'm stuck between survival and self-discovery, watching the streets swallow people I once knew. When a tragedy shakes my neighborhood to its core, I start questioning everything: Why am I here? What's my purpose? And how do I break a cycle that was never meant for me to win? This isn't a fairytale. There's no prince, no magic fix. Just raw truth, ambition, and the fight to become something more in a world that keeps trying to dim my light. Welcome to my world. Welcome to my story. Welcome to Nova.

SHORT STORY!! There are three things you should know before you start reading our story. One, my name is Vanessa and I'm a fucking idiot. I'm not stupid or anything, I just make idiotic choices that make my life so much harder. Two, this isn't a very good story. Nothing here is perfect and I'm not a very good story teller. It's messy, crazy, unplanned, and at times, it's just fucking stupid. Three, I've always wondered what the point of life is. Being a second choice for everyone around you will make you feel small, invisible, so what's really the point. That always leads me to the question: What is life? I never really found an answer for it, so if you know, please provide me with some insight. Well, now that I have warned each of you, this is the start of our story.
