"One day, you’re 17 and you’re planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life."

Tahmina's life never went according to plan, but she never thought she'd have to pay for one mistake for the rest of her life.

Tam relives her story through Adam's eyes as their paths meet again, years later.

COMPLETED: 28th OCTOBER, 2017 --------------------------------------------- "Every time she cried she remembered that every teardrop is a waterfall but her tears weren't waterfalls, they were floods and every time they came, they shook the building of her soul to its foundation. Yet, like floods do, they spread a layer of oblivion over her soul so it wouldn't know it was falling apart" -------------------------------------------------------- Think of the worst possible thing that can happen to you? Does losing your parents, one way or another, count? Because that is what Amna has been through. She lost her father to death and her mother to life. But she gained some beautiful relations throughout those intense years too. Nonetheless, she's one of the most cheery people out there Her theory: all that is wrong with her life is because of her. Then, just like a breath of fresh air, comes Mason Rogers and both of them become best friends instantly while Amna is on vacation. 5 years pass They cross paths again by a certain coincidence on Amna's part and no coincidence at all on Mason's part. But there is something peculiar about Amna. She's no longer one of the most cheery people. She has changed like the day turns into the night. Like the sun is replaced by the moon. Now it is up to Mason to figure her out, to bring back the girl he calls his best friend. Amna tries hard to resist Mason, to not let him break down her walls. Fate has its own plans, and they will unfold in the most beautiful way possible --- or will they? That's for me to write and for you to find out DISCLAIMER: This story contains Muslim characters but they don't "depict Islam" in any way. This story can also be read as a stand alone

Guilted: Wars Against The Past (Editing)

49 parts Complete

The things I knew that were once unethical, were bound to be saintly. The dreams I dreamt once upon a time, seemed to be an epitome of nightmares. The heart I thought I stole long ago, always belonged to someone else. The crimes I have committed all my life, became a handful of lessons that I ought to learn. The world I looked up to once, became a mortal enemy of mine. The family I thought would disown me, fought my battles for me. The life I never imagined I'd live, sadly it became a life I'd rather live than die. Lastly, the guilt I carried in me for the each and every second of my living, was a poison spreading and gradually banishing everything around me. Clearly, I was bounded by the past! Never have I imagined for the galaxy of guilt in me to steadily transform into a matter of great; Love. No, it wasn't for my dead sister, or for the woman I once claimed to love, or for my money-grubbing father, or even for the woman who was destined for me. Majestically, it was for Someone who I never ever thought it would be for; My Maker. Well, it's mind-blowing how the ugliest of matters bring out the most beautiful of articles! -Guilt is a gift from Allah, warning you that what you are doing is violating your soul.- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Started: 22/12/2017, 7:15 pm.
