Every year, millions of dolls are created for the sole purpose of making children happy. Those that can pass through quality control undergo rigid training at the Institute of Perfection, in hopes that one day they'll be able to meet the Institute's high standards and be allowed to pass through the portal to a child of their own. And the ones that don't? Well, they go to Uglyville, a judgment-free paradise where life is one continuous party. That is, for now. The winds of change are blowing, both for the Institute and for Uglyville. But this story isn't about the inner working of a toy factory. It isn't about how a group of would-be rejects made a statement that the Institute of Perfection would not soon forget. It's not even about how dolls all around the factory learned to love themselves for who they truely are.

It's about Moxy. It's about Uglydog. It's about Mandy. It's about Wage. It's about Babo. It's about Lucky Bat. It's about Ox. And yeah, it's about Lou too.

This is an AU (alternate universe) that I made up of Uglydolls where all of the dolls live at their studio (STX Entertainment) along with other movies that STX made including Love, Action, And Horror films and the dolls are living toons who are acting the movies on stage. During the making of the film, Lou doesn't like his role of being the villain like he use to not because of the hatred haters of him give him, but because every time he acts like the villain onset, it feels like he's hurting his 'best friends' for reals. One day during filming, Lou freaks out and runs away from the studio and 6 of his best friends follow him only to find themselves far away from home. I was watching UglyDolls again and saw some inconsistencies in the movie so I decided to fill in and inconsistencies This story is more less explaining the factory and the owner . And their relationship with Lou. The first pages will be taking place before the movie and then the other pages will be after. And also kinda got bored of all the other stories of UglyDolls Mossey with Lou. Some of these events, take place years before the movie. And A week and a few days after the movie.

this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D

There's a rich history or a back story where almost 20 years ago the hunters gathered and removed all existence of witches with elemental magic (Controlling Earth, Fire, Water, Air & Spirit ) but only two survived. That's when the book jumps in to follow the path of those survivors. Um, there are factions of offensive(Elementals) and defensive covens(Guardians) and then there's the elements of epic love, love that consumes the people involved and of course what's love without a little danger. - Thank you so much if you've read this far. I deeply urge you to binge read the book and decide for yourself whether it's unputdownable or not. Thank you so much by the way dear reader. He had nobody to share his pain; that he would never have a human to care of him. He was stuck forever at the institution, unable to go to the big world. However, one day he spots a certain doll. One that was different. Lou caught this doll behind a nearby house, holding of pair of glasses. At first Lou was intrigued by her beauty, but seeing her wear the glasses; made him fall for her even more. Someone who was different, and seemed to be like him; In pain and sorrow. Lou became obsessed over the girl: following her home, taking pictures of her and soon becomes friends with her. But one day, a group of uglydolls came along. And they were trying to take her away from him... Lou couldn't let that happen. (Note: I know these characters are dolls but when there's a murder scene, the dolls will have blood, organs and such. I know there just dolls but this is just fanfiction so it wouldn't matter that much.)
