Adira has always been tough. She focuses only on herself and her own needs. After 5th grade, she had lost all her friends. They had all either moved away or had been driven away by Adira's demeanor.
Adira's parents died when she was four trying to explore the State of Isolation. A state where when one goes in doesn't come out.
Despite the rumors and mythical creatures that only can be found in this area, there are still people who continue to adventure into the State. Adira is among these people.
Adira faces many challenges and hardships while trying to stay alive. She loves it though.
But her entire world changes when she meets Leo, the first person to truly get to know her. Suddenly, she is feeling all sorts of emotions and softens. Will Leo help her become the person she knows she can be? Will she be able to find happiness? Will loving him prove to be her greatest weakness of all?
