Twin sisters, Addison (Addy) and Elizabeth (Liz), aged seventeen and a half, have been brought into their respective Mazes at the age of fifteen.
One is in Group A Trial with an entire clan of boys. One is in Group B Trial with an entire clan of girls. Together they're strong assets to their groups and they communicate telepathically to one another in their different Mazes.
When two Greenies are sent into the Mazes, Thomas and Rachel, the twins band together with the Greanbeans in order to escape the Mazes. Along the way through survival, the girls find themselves becoming stronger than they thought they'd be.
"One of the Gladers got stung by a Griever and without a way to save him, we had to banish him to the Maze. He's gonna die, no doubt about it."
"Hmm. We encountered a Shade today in the Maze. I had to leave behind one of my Skaters."
"But you had to save everyone else, too." Addison thought, knowing Elizabeth had done the right thing.
"Exactly."

"So when did you- you know- fall in love with her?" Thomas smirked, knowing he had him right where I wanted him, with his head in Fionaland. "Woah," Newt defeated with his hands up, "What?" "I may be slow to getting to know things around here, but I'm not that slow." Tommy chuckled, "I mean I'm pretty sure half the camp has a crush on her but you're fifty shades of complicated." He rubbed the back of his neck, "You keep surprising me, Greenie. It's... just history now." He played absentmindedly with his fingers. "Why do you ask? You uh... have a thing for her?" "Gally would happily filet me if I did." I joked. He laughed but didn't seem fully at ease. "No. I don't have a thing for her, she's a friend." He nodded, with a silent radiant of pleasure. I broke and asked him about her, "Is it really history? I mean... ever since I noticed you two together now I can't stop noticing it. She walks into a room and I feel like I have to remind you to breathe." He pulled a chair over and straddling the back of it. "You know when you're running through the maze and you're almost finished, you can see the glade and you have all this built up adrenaline? You're sore, tired, sweaty but you still feel the last bit of energy to get you home? That's what I feel whenever I'm around her. It's like every nerve in my body wants to wrap around her but I also teetering on the verge danger that would come with that." Newt was sent into the maze with his younger sister, Audrey, when he was 16 and she was 15. He wants to protect her, but she knows she can handle herself. Since Audrey is the only girl she has learned to cope with living with the boys. After 2 years in the glade some of the boys began to consider her the little sister of the glade and are now protective over her. The other boys became her enemies. Newt needs to protect her now more than ever. When Thomas comes up in The Box it begins to get harder to keep her safe when the way out of the maze is so dangerous.Complete

Before Thomas, a girl was sent by mistake, with nothing but a vial of antidote in her hands and frantic scribbles on her arm with warnings for the Gladers. Her coming marks the beginning of a new era in the Maze. A drama featuring an OC, some Grievers, would-you-rather questions, and a little bit of romance. --- This is an idea that I've been playing out in my head for two years, now. It originally started as inserting myself into the world of The Maze Runner, and progressed from there. When I would work my summer job, I would daydream about the happenings, conversations, and friendships developing naturally over a period of time, and found myself engaged in the drama. Like a tv show, the episodes drew themselves and picked up where they left off, satiating my curiosity and giving more depth and background to the characters I loved so much.Complete
