As Marco and Star spend more time together, they soon become best of friends fighting monsters, solving problems and eating nachos. 
One day Marco's parents take the two adventurous teenagers on a road trip to Colorado, Which means leaving their almost perfect town of Echo Creek. Which wouldn't be a problem except Marco has a massive crush on Star. All Marco's parents want to do is get a little alone time on the vacation, leaving Star and Marco alone together. The more alone time Star and Marco spend with each other the more Marco thinks about confessing his feelings to Star.
