Now to grieve for the loss of her friend, she writes her friend letters in a journal everyday about her day and what has happened since her accident.
But she is determined alongside of Cheyanne's sister Leah to figure out who the driver was that killed their best friend and figure out what really happened that night.

In life we make decisions, sometimes bad, sometimes good, but they each lead us on a different path; the path of life. Some may call this path a rollercoaster, some describe it as a bumpy road or rocky mountains. Each of these description tell us the same thing; life is tough. For Ava O'Connor, life wasn't so tough. Not at the beginning. Her parents were rich businesspeople who could give her and her three sisters whatever they wanted. But as with all stories, something changed. Ava knew that she was different from her sisters; treated like and outcast, dressing strangely...etcetera, etcetera. Her mother, a cruella-devil-type, treated her as though she was a mistake, unwanted. That was, until she created a plan to 'change' her, to 'make her normal.'
