In a post apocalyptic world, where the next corner could be your demise, a boy finds himself exploring the world. He writes in his journal, explaining what he's seen, where he's been and so on, all while learning how to play the one instrument he's always loved. His goal is to survive while also exploring the vastness of the world...but his ultimate goal is to find his friends and bring them home with him. The question is...can he find them in time?
A/N: The chapters that have 'Page' are told from the perspective of a written journal. For example in some games and movies when people find notes from others. The chapters that do not have 'Page' in them are written from a first person point of view. Also, the dates are Australian (DD/MM/YYYY)

In the depths of this zombie apocalypse 17 year old Ryan has survived through it all where his family hasn't been as lucky. Scavenging all he can find, his world revolves around one basic, cruel fact - that any day could be his last. But then the impossible happens. Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss? *Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right?
