In a post apocalyptic world, where the next corner could be your demise, a boy finds himself exploring the world. He writes in his journal, explaining what he's seen, where he's been and so on, all while learning how to play the one instrument he's always loved. His goal is to survive while also exploring the vastness of the world...but his ultimate goal is to find his friends and bring them home with him. The question is...can he find them in time?

A/N: The chapters that have 'Page' are told from the perspective of a written journal. For example in some games and movies when people find notes from others. The chapters that do not have 'Page' in them are written from a first person point of view. Also, the dates are Australian (DD/MM/YYYY)All Rights Reserved

*Prologue* To be entirely honest with you, I never really considered my future. It's not like I needed to...right? Why would you care about jobs and your educational success when you could be scavenging for food, perhaps? I mean what use is your academic future in the apocalypse? Dramatic right? They all thought they had this new world figured out, but they were all far from that. Friendships are formed and some grow stronger, and some are simply ruined. The group finds themselves second guessing who they can trust after the death of Julia. What will happen when the group finds Jackson? What will they do to him?
