This semi-comedic sci-fi novel functions as a bridge between book series and can be read as either a prequel to Dip$h!+s in Space season 3 (serving as additional background for the new Osirian crew) or as a sequel to the Heart of Osiris book. Adrian Michael Greggarious (AKA Greg) is exiled for war crimes and sentenced to time-pending years, under lock and key in a luxurious prison planet built for him. The Old, immortal overlord struggles with the change of pace, from galactic domination, to essentially just dicking around on an island. This old wardog doesn't retire without a fight, as he plots and plans his escape from his gilded cage of luxury to regain his empire through blood and power. The Osirian High Council, forced by his resistance and persistence must break out the ultimate weapon to pacify the beast...the woman who got away. Izleena Orrah Gravenstead Greggarious, his own daughter-in law, must break him and show the council he is no longer a galactic threat before he loses the last of his marbles and does something really stupid...again. 
      Something sinister looms in the darkness, plotting and simmering in the shadows of his paranoia. Is he sniffing out the real threat to his empire, or just driven insane by isolation, a slave to his own delusions and drug-educed hallucinations? The family is torn to sides, trying to decide if they must release the beast, or simply add more layers of security to his prison mansion, to save him from his own conspiracies.  Dive deeper into the Osirian Empire, and the warped existence of the hero that went from the chosen savior, to that one weirdo at family reunions everyone pretends they don't know. An empire on edge of war, an old man on the edge of sanity. But as time continues to pass and tensions grow higher, Star hears whispers about a growing rebellion that could dissolve the current monarchy and bring her back home. She decides to help, along with her friends, and begins to realize that being young does not exclude her from the horrors of war, and she is faced with the fact that even if she is able to return home, nothing-not even her-will ever be the same. *Basically, a YA novel with teenagers being teenagers, more gay, more diversity, a lot more swearing, and darker humor. Something I'm writing for fun. Give it a shot if you so wish.
