When two hedgehogs no one except Sonic knows show up on the teams doorstep, dripping wet and speaking of a place that isn't on any maps, Sonic's friends get suspicious. They intericate him with a truth serum Tails comes up with, only to find out that he's a Merhog, decented from Posiden, and next in line to ruling the sea. They also learn that Sonic never wanted to be king and was forced into marrying and having a child with a woman he barely knows. 

Amy hates this, but Knuckles, Tails, Silver, Blaze, Rouge, and-believe it or not-, Shadow will stick with him till the end, embarking on a dangurous quest to help him overcome this trial that includes finding an underwater city, battling sea monsters, facing an angry Queen, meeting Sonic's other family, and unknowingly convincing him to take the throne. 

This will be the adventure of a lifetime and will change their lives forever.

I originally made the story as a short story which was the first chapter of this story however I soon decided to make it have its own book as it is hard to make this into only 2 parts! May have multiple endings. Mainly Shadamy but has SonAmy too. (I want to clarify I wrote this story and I had inspo from a comic I read in high school back then. So full credits to them for inspiring me. However I did this story entirely on my own with my writing style. I came up with the plots and characters' development. That's where they meet new allies with special abilities and other creatures as the search for the Chaos Emeralds again who was got spread away. Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
