After serving a two year sentence in Juvie, Ignatius (Iggy) DiLaurentes begins to navigate the world as a new adult. With a sister in highschool and a brother close to finishing college, Iggy is challenged by not only his own insecurities but also the rough neighborhood of Queens, New york. Ivy Bradshaw has finally gotten out of her small town in Oregon, and along with her childhood bestfriend she's ready to take on NYU at eighteen. Balancing her musical theatre major and advanced psychology minor, college proves to be more work than she imagined. So what happens when they suddenly cross paths in his own home? Determined, Ivy sets out to be Iggy's friend, not knowing what he struggles with on a daily basis. With a sunny disposition and positive outlook on life, Ivy proves to be Iggy's worst nightmare, and Iggy proves to be her biggest challenge. *** *Told from alternating POV'S. Auden's life has been anything but easy. Her relationship with Hunter happens fast, and Auden's unsure if he's too good to be true. But Auden isn't alone in struggling with her homelife. There's also Ender. The closed-off, myserious boy living not far from her house who she can't deny the intense pull she feels towards him. He understands her and knows exactly what she's going through. Their bond may be a bit too intense to ignore. As Auden is torn between the two, she begins to realize everyone's lives are infinitely more complex than they first appeared.
