14 year old Alexa Mendoza was diagnosed with leukemia. Aka cancer. With the help of family, and her best friend Katie, her cancer went away with chemotherapy and she went back to being healthy Alexa. Or so they thought. Alexa's cancer comes back, but this time its much farther along- Stage 3 Leukemia. This time, the doctors aren't so sure that Alexa is going to have a "smooth" recovery. Or maybe a recovery at all.
The timeline of this is going to be junior year, but like everything that happened is season 1-4 was just all smushed together into the first two years of highschool. If you haven't seen season 4 yet, then none of this will make sense, so go and watch it!!!
