At first everything seems almost too good to be true, but Nefer-ra soon realizes there is more to the order of things at the palace than at first catches the eye and she has to face the fact that her fairytale may not be that happy after all.
Year 1391 BC. Unlike the other wives in Pharaoh Atekhramun's harem, Ra-nef-ankh doesn't want love or adoration from the Pharaoh. She wants revenge. In order to get her plan to work, she needs to get close enough to the Pharaoh but how can she do that when his grief makes him push people away. And how do you get time alone with the Pharaoh in a harem where everyone is fighting for his attention?
