Nini Salazar-Roberts: The definition of a "nerd". Straight A, Yale bound, Honor's and AP student. She does loads of community work, is in as many clubs as possible, book worm, and the embodiment of perfection to others. She's not very popular and will often get called "Miss 100" but, it doesn't really fase her. She's proud of who she is and doesn't mind showing it off. But Ricky Bowen is a completely opposite story, or is he?

Ricky Bowen: Ricky is... kind of a dumb jock. Captain of the basketball team, but simultaneously, the worst student at East High. Failing classes, skipping class, detentions after detentions, and and finding a new girl every week. Everyone sees him as this "bad boy hearthtob" but, Nini finds him and his entourage of dumbies, rude and a waste of time. But what if there's more then what he shows to everyone?

What happens when Nini is assigned to tutor the one and only Ricky Bowen and his secret slips out? What happens when Ricky doesn't see Nini as some girl toy? Will she keep a promise of staying quiet? Or will everyone finally get to know about the real Ricky?All Rights Reserved

She's been cheerleading for as long as she can remember and had been captain for two years. She's nothing short of amazing and quite possibly the nicest person you'll ever meet. And that's how she ends up getting to date Ej Caswell, Quarterback of the football team. Ej's everything you'd expect him to be. Tall, handsome, and the total package. Kind of. I mean, he's a nice guy... to his inner circle. But other than that, he can be a jerk. But that's besides the point in Nini's eyes. She's just happy to be in a relationship. Even if that includes dealing with Ej's step brother. A little while ago, Ricky's mother, Lynne, remarried to Todd Caswell. Ricky didn't mind the guy, but he didn't necessarily love him.
