Nini Salazar-Roberts: The definition of a "nerd". Straight A, Yale bound, Honor's and AP student. She does loads of community work, is in as many clubs as possible, book worm, and the embodiment of perfection to others. She's not very popular and will often get called "Miss 100" but, it doesn't really fase her. She's proud of who she is and doesn't mind showing it off. But Ricky Bowen is a completely opposite story, or is he?
Ricky Bowen: Ricky is... kind of a dumb jock. Captain of the basketball team, but simultaneously, the worst student at East High. Failing classes, skipping class, detentions after detentions, and and finding a new girl every week. Everyone sees him as this "bad boy hearthtob" but, Nini finds him and his entourage of dumbies, rude and a waste of time. But what if there's more then what he shows to everyone?
What happens when Nini is assigned to tutor the one and only Ricky Bowen and his secret slips out? What happens when Ricky doesn't see Nini as some girl toy? Will she keep a promise of staying quiet? Or will everyone finally get to know about the real Ricky?
