Mirabella is a strange place to live in. When society collapsed, humans had to find a new way to build their lives. With the help of a new god, the new ranking system was born.
When a child is born, they are taken away from their parents, and spend their first 16 years of life training for the day of the "Newborn race." An event in which every 16 year old in Mirabella that year competes against one another, to find their soulmate, and ranking in society.
When Lilly Rose is born into the lowest section of society, she is treated like a burden. She grows to hate her life and all the people within it.
Yet one day as the tides begin to change, how might one friend from her childhood turned enemy change Lilly Rose's life completely?
