Kapag nasanay kang gawin ang mga bagay para sa sarili mo, paano mo magagawang piliin ang sarili mo pagdating ng araw?

Serene Raphael Buenaventura is a daughter of the late architect Arthur Buenaventura, and his first wife, Serena Buenaventura. When she lost her mother after giving birth to his baby brother, Mikael Trevor, it felt like she lost his father, too. And when life gave Arthur a second chance to feel alive again, Cherish arrived, with her two children, Yvo and Yvonne. But then, Arthur still have to leave after his vices backfired.

At sa pag-aakalang magiging ayos pa rin ang lahat, kinailangan nilang dumating sa punto na hindi na nila kilala ang isa't isa dahil sa nagagawang pagbabago ng buhay sa tao. Unintentionally, Cherish kicked out Serene and Kael of their own home after learning the relationship Serene has with Lance Ashanti, who was bound to marry Yvonne to ensure the merging of their companies.

After years, Serene and Shan found a way back to each other only to stumble on obstacles who are against their relationship. Again. Kung kailan handa na siyang piliin ang sarili niya ay heto na naman ang mundo at tumututol sa kanila.

But how should things turn out when life decides to make the tables turn? To make everything in favor of you, after every scars and wounds it gave you? How should you move on and keep going... after every hardships, and challenges, and struggles?

How will you continue to choose yourself when life has made it clear that... what you want won't happen in this lifetime? Just... how?

ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, ALWAYS WILL BE Might not. Probably won't. Maybe never. Unlikely. Doubtful. Despite being everything he could have been, Elize constantly settled in the dark, lurking with the impossibles and uncertainties. He believed that he would grow up and take the path of life in a single route with one straight line; no turns, no shortcuts. Perhaps it was because his one and only flesh and blood prompted him to think that if he didn't act like how he was made and how he was supposed to be, he would never reach the light at the end of the tunnel, or never reach his dreams, never be accepted, never be treated seriously...never be loved. The word "Always" was never in Elize's vocabulary-an exception with always doubting, always trying, always...just dreaming. But never the good kind of "Always". Then he tasted it, the bittersweet sensation in his tongue when his mother left him to work abroad. Elize then started to thrive, meet new friends, socialize, be a human...fall in love. For the first time, Elize felt free, felt genuine, felt...guilty? Guilty...was it because he felt glad his mother left, or because he met someone that made him start to feel the Always' in his Nevers? Regardless, he dedicated his whole life in chasing that assurance in his world of doubts, and he simply could not back out now. But when good things come to an end, the choice is yours if you want to let it go, or fight for it. If you choose the latter, make sure to draw blood and fight until you're dead. Just like Elize did.
