Now high school was nothing to her but a massive reminder of her bitter loneliness and at every turn there's a new memory of her blissful past flooding in, never letting her forget about her recently found solitude. As if a dead boyfriend isn't hard enough, her strained relationship with her mother on top of having no friends meant she had no one to turn to. Stephen ends up becoming her only friend, encouraging her through her troubles along the way. But what was Abby to do when Stephen became a problem himself, feelings always made for a messy situation.
