An Unofficial Complex Medicine Cat Guide.
We do not own nor claim to own any part of the Warriors series by the Erin Hunter group or any part of the Roblox game Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition. This is an unofficial guide to medicine cats! We compiled this both for our own use and fun and to post for others to do so too! We've used as many sites as we could and read what we could of the books to base this on, as well as to confirm with real-life sources on certain parts (for example, is so and so poisonous to cats). This has herbs (canon and fanon), practices, procedures, the medicine cat code, unspoken medicine cat rules, even tips on roleplaying, and much more! You're welcome to use this as needed to reference and such, but if you can please put us in the credits just as we have with all those we used! We suggest you understand that some of this is theorized, meaning we've based it on what we can and gone with it as far as we can go. Otherwise, have fun, and may StarClan light your path!Complete

"When the sun casts its light, shadows appear, but when clouds block the light, the shadows disappear. Nothing can calm the rising storm." The clans receive a message from Starclan, only to forget it, all but one warrior. This warrior must hold it a secret until the right one is found. Then, along came a kit. "You'll never be a Warrior, twoleg toy!" Born to a hard life, Fernkit wishes that she hadn't been found as a kit. Life as a kittypet in the warrior clans can be hard, especially when, somehow, you get everyone in the whole clan to hate you. Meanwhile, a new apprentice- Starpaw- was supposed to be a medicine cat apprentice, but her leader had other intentions. WITHERING HERBS || A Warriors Fanfiction
A sickness - like a mere case of the chills or a minor whitecough in a patient - is often something a medicine cat can easily fix, with some leafy catmint or perhaps a pawful of feverfew. It is vanquished effortlessly, and the illness is gone. It does not come back unless someone receives it again. But when the Clans have contracted a terrible sickness, StarClan has not answered for moons, and they are losing numbers quickly, nobody knows what to do. The medicine cats have done all they can for their Clanmates, however, nothing has worked. No longer outside the elder's den lay a lazy, gray-muzzled cat. The nursery, ever so faintly smelling of milk, only contains memories of what used to happen in the usually cheery den. The warrior's den only have three or four inhabitants, each of which thinks grimly of the day that the sickness could come upon them. The apprentice's den, in some Clans, has one cat who comes to sleep in it each night, cold and alone. Others are empty, filled with grief for lost futures. Leaf-fall has tumbled upon the Clans. Leaf-bare approaches, peeking over the treetops some mornings. This awful illness has lasted since Green-leaf and, still, with the medicine cats searching every day and the warrior's eyes peeled for it, a cure has not been found. However, each Clan has a reason for StarClan not answering them, and they mostly stick to it.
