[Book II from the Series of the Wellington Brothers. Can be read as a stand-alone novel]
Peace had barely settled over the werewolf world after the unknown enemy's brutal attacks when a new storm began brewing in the shadows. The packs, once on the brink of destruction, had reclaimed their tranquility, and life returned to normal-or so it seemed. Survivours rebuilt, wounds healed, and the packs were declared safe once again.
But not for Jace Wellington.
Banished from the Dark Moon pack, deemed unworthy of the throne, Jace harboured a burning obsession. His mate, Skylar, was dead. The official story didn't add up, and something about her death didn't sit right. The whispers behind closed doors made his blood boil. Determined to unravel the mystery surrounding her suspicious death, Jace embarked on a dangerous path-one that would lead him deep into a web of deceit, betrayal, and dark secrets that the packs would rather keep buried.
With no clear evidence and no allies to trust, Jace plunged headfirst into a world of uncertainty, where every answer raised more questions. The deeper he digs, the more he finds himself tangled in a maze of lies and dangerous revelations he never wanted to uncover.
Acting on instinct, Jace's actions begin to spiral out of control, pulling him into a series of deadly choices. He teeters on the edge, haunted by his past and driven by the fierce desire to avenge the one he lost. The closer he gets to the truth, the more he risks of losing the little sanity he has left.
Will Jace be able to release the ghosts of his past and find peace?
Or will his quest for vengeance lead him down a path of no return, consumed by the very darkness he seeks to destroy?
All he needs to do... is make a wish.

I never would wish anyone to lose their mate by rejection nor death. I never would wish this on my greatest enemy or my best friend. I never would wish this on anyone because I knew what it felt like to lose someone that should mean the world to a person.
I knew what it was like to survive without a mate, and I couldn't help but pray that no one had to face it inside my pack. I couldn't help but pray to the Goddess for everyone to find the happiness that I had deserved but never had gotten.
Unfortunately, my prayers weren't answered when the love of my life, my best friend, and my Alpha was rejected by his mate. And, as I watched as he struggled, I couldn't help but wonder as to who would think to reject an Alpha that deserves the world for putting up with my shit. And, I couldn't help but wonder if he deserves to be called an Alpha without his Luna.
