Goldenfall turns his back against his clan and his family, leaving in the middle of dead night, taking only little supplies, a heavy heart, and legends of the old territory and the Grand Oak camp. Now going as Gold, he travels over the mountain. With the help of the spirits of his past and present, along with cats he meets along the way, he travels back in time to Sapphireclan's birth place, but he finds that there is a bigger journey ahead for him.
