You will jump into the role of the best friend from Waylon Park. You've been the last female psychologist and your current patient is Chris Walker.
After the patients escape out of their cells and slowly take over the whole asylum you stand in front of the biggest challenge you'd ever conquer. Survive. The biggest problem is the fact that you're a female, which leads to sick obsession-like behaviour in the minds of all the patients. Luckily you found Waylon and hope started to built up.

-Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. Content Warning: This fic contains blood, gore, cannibalism, a suicide attempt, mild body horror, and language. If you are sensitive to any of those things I suggest not reading. After Waylon was caught and put through the Morphogenic Engine the doctors had put him through multiple different test that crippled his sanity. They had completely erased all memory of his family and past life of 5 years, leaving only small bits of memories. Throughout these test, they had tried to infuse electricity into his very being. This had resulted in Waylon being able to store and use this electricity whenever. Being completely insane and have this kind of power led to him being called the Coder by the patients after the Walrider outbreak. He roams the halls searching for the perfect "Human Hard Drive" to store the memories that he hasn't lost. But what happens when this "Human Hard Drive" turns out to be Eddie Gluskin, The very man that Waylon had tried to help save from the engine in the begin.Lengkap
