This story is about a boy. A boy who got pushed away by his only friend, bullied and picked on by others. 

Stuart and Murdoc always stuck together as kids. They'd play pretend, go on adventures, do whatever kids do. 

When they got a little older they started a small band, just the two of them. And they kept their band to themselves. Murdoc played the bass and Stuart played Piano and sang. He even played the acoustic every now and then.  

But everything changed once they reached high school and Murdoc couldn't do anything the day of the tragedy.

After murdoc is arrested 2d ends up becoming the temporary leader of gorillaz. It's quite overwhelming for the singer to take on his many new tasks as the new leader but he's doing his best to make the band proud. While looking for a bassist to temporarly replace murdoc he ends up meeting ace. At first the two are just friends and bandmates but in soon enough time the two become much more then just bandmates. FYI just to clear up confusion. These first of all are my comfort versions of the band. And second of all this is in no way following canon so if you don't like that i'm sorry. Murdoc assumed that because said person would be performing on the streets, they wouldn't be missed and no one would attempt to search for them. He was right about this, for when he swept you up and took you back to the beach, no one even batted an eye.
